The Signed, Sealed, Delivered TV series on Hallmark is one of the most inspiring and heartwarming shows on the Hallmark Channel. By my starting of this blog, I hope to share with other fans of this show my thoughts about the different characters, events, and other random things from this amazing series. And for starters, let me share with you a few reasons why I love this show so much.
1. I love mail. I love to write and receive mail, not email, but real mail--snail mail. I love brown envelopes that show the wear and tear of the journey it took, I love stamps with all its different shapes and colors,not to mention the jagged-wavy edge of them, and I love letters, the lined paper with beautiful messy cursive writing. I love the feeling of seeing an envelope with your name on it, and the mystery feeling as you rip open the envelope and pull out the contents. And, this show is about mail.
2. I love mysteries. The movies and episodes of SSD are thrilling but yet heartwarming. The mysteries are intriguing but not terrifying.
3. It's relatable to me. The scenes in SSD are mostly in the city, which is where I was born and still live.
4. I love the many heart issues addressed. This show is pretty deep, addressing many different emotions and the resolving of these emotions.
5. I love the way the Bible is incorporated. Bible truths are so very needed in our world today, and SSD has time and again weaved Bible principles and morals into its movies.
6. I love the characters. Each character is so unique in this cast. I can relate to at least one of them or at most one or two traits in each person. (I can't name a favorite, but Shane might be at the top of the list.)
